How to set Notifications and Reminders in the Task App?

Notifications and Reminders setting in the Automate Task app


Learn to configure notifications in the Automate Task app, including WhatsApp/Email alerts, daily reminders, and weekly off days.




  • Log in to the Automate Tasks App using your registered credentials.

  • Navigate to the Settings section from the main menu.



  • At the top, you'll find Company details and WhatsApp integration settings where you can connect your WABA number to the app, with assistance from the support team.



  • Under Task app settings, you will see options for Notification and Reminders.




  • You can enable or disable WhatsApp and Email notification toggles as needed. These alerts inform you about new task assignments or updates to existing tasks.





  • Here's a preview of the new task assignment notification on WhatsApp and Email. It will display the task category, description, priority, frequency, due date, and include a button to redirect you to the app.










  • Below that, select your Timezone to ensure reminders and reports match your local time accurately.







  • You can configure a Daily Reminder for the team, ensuring each user receives a notification with the tasks they need to complete by the end of the day. Let's set it up for 11:00 AM.





  • You can turn ON/OFF the toggle for Email and daily reminder as per requirement.









  • You can set up the Daily Task report time so that Admins and Managers receive daily task reports for their team members.









  • You can select Weekly Offs in for your organisation by checking the Non-Working Days. Users will not receive reminders or notifications on the selected non-working days. 







 Once you save these settings, your configuration will be applied, and you can continue using the app seamlessly.
